The Rural Art. Heirloom furniture, sold on Meta.

The Rural Art makes hand-carved, solid-wood furniture to order, with pieces from $2,249 to $7,899. Nobody buys a $3,000 bed on the first click, so we built interest cheaply first, then asked for the sale. In its first five weeks the sales campaign returned $7,125.75 on $1,129.82.

The brief
A new Meta account for a US furniture brand whose cheapest piece costs more than many monthly ad budgets. The job: prove that paid social can sell made-to-order furniture at a profit.
What we saw first
The product was ready. The buyers weren’t, yet.
- 01Every piece is $2,249 or more and takes 8–10 weeks to make, so the decision is slow and considered.
- 02The proof was already on the site: 4.9-star reviews, free US shipping and Shop Pay financing.
- 03There was no warm audience to sell to. Asking cold traffic for a $3,000 order would burn budget.

What we did
Two campaigns, in order. From 31 August a traffic campaign bought 1,949 landing page views at $0.18 each, putting the furniture in front of people who might one day want it. From 7 September a sales campaign asked for the order. Once it was converting, the traffic campaign was paused and the budget went to sales.
The two campaigns
| Campaign | Spend | What it bought |
|---|---|---|
| Traffic · from 31 Aug | $349.13 | 1,949 page views at $0.18 |
| Sales · from 7 Sep | $1,129.82 | 4 orders, $7,125.75 · 6.31× |
| Both | $1,478.95 | 4.8× on every dollar |

What’s next
Four orders is an early read, not a finished result. Next we scale the sales campaign while the return holds, and report it here as it grows.
